Fresh Tracks For Fresh Tracks

Winter is upon us and for me, having awesome new shred tunes is as much a part of pre-shred stoke as getting a new setup. The beats in your ears stimulate your riding and in many ways can define your time on the mountain.

My top new tracks to kick off the early season (and some bonus tracks from last season):

1) This remix of Lana del Rey is the perfect place to start this post. It says it all…hynoptizing synths that seem to chill and “just ride”.

Bonus: This one is about a year old now but still gets me pumped. Patrick Reza dubstep remix of Blue Jeans:

2)RAC fucking kill it. They consistently deliver inspired remixes and this latest offering is on point as always. The super upbeat melodic hook is incredibly catchy and will leave you bouncing off the walls!

Bonus:

Hollywood. An original track and collaboration with Penguin Prison….

This shit always puts me in the zone.

3) This Classixx remix of the Gossip’s Move in the Right direction has an elevating, almost haunting quality that is a perfect accompaniment for those long floaty pow turns!

4) I don’t’ even know what genre this is but I know I fucking like it! Fresh and dangerous.…a Minnesota original: http://soundcloud.com/minnesota/to-the-floor

Also check out this banger Minnesota remix of Adventure Club:

5) This track has got a wonderful soulful vocal juxtaposed with a lot of bleeps and blips. The rythym is sick and that dope backbeat meshes it all together in a way that just seems to work.

6) I am convinced that Holy Ghost! are bona fide musical virtuosi. Their latest track is as addictive as anything else I have heard by them. The new york based duo continue to delight with their upbeat and catchy vocals and synths.

7)This Disco Fries track has an edgy, aggressive sound that is ideal listening for smashing it in the park:

8)This track zooms along in a kind of swirly disco dream. A classic in it’s own right, Psychemagik fuses the original with echoic vocals and a groovy backbeat that provides an extra punch.  Stick this on when carving those longer cruisier lines.

Psssttt ! Envoie-ça à ton ami!
