There's nothing so simple as jumping in your car with your deck and a few buddies and touring around skateparks in the summer. Calgary-based Shredz crew did just that and dropped this raw and awesome video to prove it!

33MAG: Who is Shredz?
Liam: Shredz Skate shop is based out of Cochrane Alberta which is right next to Calgary and is owned by Sam Stuart.
How did this trip come together?
Lane Mosolf (Shredz team rider) got responsible and got us organized some how?
Where did you go? was it just a skatepark tour or were you street skating too?
We went Camping in Kelowna for 4 nights then drove back to Calgary and the next day Drove to Medicine Hat for Beat The Heat. It was mostly a drinking trip more then anything. We did go Street skating but I am filming for the sequel to BeerStorm so we are sitting on all those clips.
What was the best spot you guys hit and what was the highlight - action wise?
Probably this 14 set at a school in Penticton Ryan Spate got a clip there also Jeff Pisony got a Clip i'm really hyped on. Most of our action was beach action i'd say haha.
Looks like lots of shenanigans went down. Give us a crazy/funny story from the trip
Haha hard to say because it's pretty blurry and so many things happened. If I had to pick one it'd probably be when Steve Graham passed out at the Kelowna skate park and we wrote fuck on his forehead. He walked around like that for most the night and nobody told him. Also apparently a bunch of people saw the photo and though it was a tattoo.
What's next for the Shredz crew?
Filming lots in Calgary and hopefully make it out BC a couple more times I might even go down to Cali with a couple guys.
