The Oakley Pro Bali surf contest just wrapped up and it was a doozey. Check out the highlights including an epic night surf session and possibly the best air EVER done on a surfboard!
On day one, Hawaii-born surf legend in the making John John Florence landed what many are calling the greatest surf air ever landed. And it's hard to argue. In the dying moments of his heat, John John landed what can only be described as an absolutely perfect backside 360 alley-oop, boosting at least eight feet above the lip of the wave. Insane! Another rad part of the event was an nighttime "expression session" (free surf) for the pros, combined with what looks like an awesome party. This is so cool! They lit up the waves and let the best surfers in the world tear it up under some really unique conditions. Very cool shit. Check out the video of the session here:
