1. Pack a t-shirt and bathing suit in your carry-on

Before you even get to your destination you are going to want to change clothes out of your sweaty travel gear. Make sure you pack enough gear in your carry-on that you will be able to change into something fresh feeling upon arrival and with your suit on-hand,  you won’t be sitting beachside frowning if your luggage is lost!

2. Use the all-inclusive resort as a basecamp

There's something to be said about unlimited drinks, clean pools and the safety of leaving your valuables in your hotel room ... but don't get trapped in the resort for long! Use it as a basecamp to explore the country you are travelling in.

3. As the locals where the best party is

Everyone likes to party but if you're not careful you'll just end up spending your vacation dancing with sweaty frat boys on spring break. Talk to a few locals and ask about where the real party is and don't look back!

4. Don't forget your skateboard

A small skateboard can really help you get around town!

5. A pretty girl never hurts your cause

Having a pretty girl on your trip can magically open up many doors you never even knew existed. There's something about a pretty face that makes locals want to open up and share their secrets. Instantly you'll be invited to all the best parties and find out about the best beaches. Trust me, it's true! And the best part is, it's a mutually beneficial situation because travelling with a bunch of guys is a great way for a female traveller to feel safe.
