Practical jokes, or pranks, are fun. You freak people out, you tell them it was all for entertainment purpose. People laugh. Sometimes people get angry. Normally everyting is sorted out within minutes and everyone gets going about their daily business.

However, you sneeze in a plane and you say "sorry I've been to Africa" as a joke, well let's say sh*t hits the fan. At high speed.

An individual actually did that, while passengers where about to disembark the US Airways Flight 850 in Punta Cana. You don't really joke around with a deadly virus when there is an ongoing outbreak of said virus.

Passengers were stuck on the plane for two hours with a bunch of hazmat suited dudes investigating the situation until it  was confirmed the individual was in reality a jackass who's never been to Africa.

It's kinda funny, kinda' dumb (super dumb), and ruins pretty nicely the beginning of vacations for a whole bunch of people.

Psssttt ! Envoie-ça à ton ami!
