Ring ring.

David: Hello

John: hey just bought an RV!! Wanna go on a rail trip?

David :Um, I dunno, I'm waiting for it to snow!! When? With who? Where? how long?

John :  It's not going to snow, we will be back in a week. I'll gather a crew and we will leave tomorrow to PG.

So there i am loading my gear into the RV, then realizing there's going to be 5 dudes and a dog living out of this RV for the next week. I start to question my decision. As we cross over the Duffy, I get to know the crew a little more. Adam Franks, never met him before, rad dude and wicked boarder. Kyle Stainton, we've been on a few shoots together hard working boarder was stoked to have him along. Jeremy Melanson great guy to have along for the trip, not afraid of some good hard work and jumps are always pimp when jer is around.

RV livin'

As night falls, the punk rock cranked and with John's foot to the floor of the RV we're blasting our way north along the 97. As we approach 100 Mile House, the crew gets stoked on doing a night sesh at a well known down-rail. So we pull in, cooked a pizza while we set up and bagged a few clips - all while enjoying hot 'za! We load up and start heading north again into the late hours of the night. The crew is stoked on the way things have started and the flow of the trip has begun

We arrive at Walmart in PG around 5am, the RV is a fucking mess with shit everywhere. We open up the sleeping bags and just lie on what ever and get some shut eye. Amazingly I wake up in the morning and realized I had an awesome sleep and am feeling great. The vibe from the rest of the crew feels the same and were stoked to get to work and bang some shit out. Kyles been in touch with a local homie brad and we get some intel of some spots and spend the day reconing, RV tidy drinking cariboo burning Doobs and building for the following day.

It's something else when you pull up to a spot early morning that's already built. It's just amazing being able to make a coffee, have some breakie and then make your way into some boarding - also while a fine gentlman supports our decision making with 2 flats of delicious beverages. Another great sesh, it's awesome to be working with such a hard working crew. That will do a trick for hours until its perfect.

As the week goes on our flow of the crew increases and our battle with cops,  stays steady but things are going well. We're hitting 2 -3 spots a day and the constant flow of video shots, cariboo's, and poppers keeps everyone moving along. With us having a nice little piece of land at Walmart parking lot eveynight to call home, electric heat cranked, bathroom facilities and food close by, it sure makes RV living easy after a hard days work and cold late night rail battles.

Jeremy Melenson - Front Blunt

Last day in PG and we have accomplished pretty much everything we set out to do except a good sesh on a popular gold rail and go back for a photo from another spot. We accomplished both and made our way out of PG late afternoon with caribou flowing, punk rock cranked in a smoked filled RV blasting south on the 97.

As we approach 100 mile in the early evening of the night mumbles about hitting some spots start. So we pull into the local 711 to get some snacks and bring John back from the insomnia drive. Snacks in hand and we Jump back into the RV and the old girl won't start. After having troubles with the starter the last few days we come to the realization that its starter related issue. So it's a -25 degree night and we have no heat ... not as cozy as Walmart living but we make it through the night with the help of a few brews and doobs. After a chilly nights sleep  John fixes the rig up and we high tail it out and head home towards Whistler.

Fuck, I can't wait to shower.
