éS X Livestock X The Hundreds
Commentaires1
This summer, veteran skateboarding footwear company éS, Vancouver-based boutique Livestock and L.A. streetwear label The Hundreds pursued a joint venture entiteled the Boarder Control Project. Consisting of two pairs of sneakers in one cohesive package, the Boarder Control Project unites the West Coast through meaningful design, a longstanding relationship between the parties, and a deep appreciation for skateboard culture.
Livestock reinterpreted éS' Theory Mid with vibrant, pop colors that are offset by a hicking-boot theme. From the all-terrain laces to the ripstop strap, Livestock's Theory Mid presents a unique skate-sneaker that is as creative as it is eye-catching.
The Hundreds worked on the popular éS Square One, directly contrasting Livestock's sneakers with a black-on-black color scheme. The Hundreds' Square One is constructed from a variety of materials that fuse the skate shoe makeup of yesterday (suede, canvas) with the newer generation of premium textiles (3M, ballistic nulon, faux carbon fiber).
Both shoes are offered togheter, limited to 500 boxsets, wich will be sold exclusively through The Hundreds and Livestock retail stores in the United States and Canada, their respective webstores, and a handful of select doors. Be on the lookout for the collaboration in stores October 18th 2008.
