Tight pants, urban and Jean Leloup. Cédrik DP is from Cowansville Québec and he got well known in the past few years. Filming with 3TP, ESK Media, NSF Production and lately PYP, he doesn’t really need an introduction anymore.
Here’s a short interview with our favorite Skipster.
33MAG: Why do you shoot so much urban?
Cedric: Because I think that we can be so much more creative in urban, the shots are sicks and video segments remain as time goes on.
What do you hate most in your sport?
The competitions! How can you judge freeski? It is actually the antithesis of out sport’s origin.
How’s your season so far?
It’s actually really good! I’m shooting a lot with JF Lefebvre from 3TP for an unknown project… We shoot every week, our goal is really to innovate and do something different.
Which urban rail has been the biggest PITA?
Probably the setup in Sherbrooke with ESK 3 years ago. It was a C rail to 90° transfer on another down rail. It took me almost 3 hours to get the shot.
When are we going to see the next Strudel Pack?
Haha, I don’t know man! What we especially wanted to show with the SP, was that skiing is supposed to be fun, not a misery. Many people take it a little bit too seriously. Freeski is not supposed to be an eternal competition of Spin to Win. Strudel Pack Episode 3; a must see!
The future projects of the skier are clear, spend the rest of the season shooting as much as he can and spend a part of the summer at Camp of Champion or Windells. And we'll see where these projects with 3TP will bring him! We’re leaving you with Cedrik’s SuperUnknown VIII.
